Naved Aslam is a popular Indian stage actor, scriptwriter, and television and film actor. He was born and brought up in Delhi. For over ten years, he has written, directed and acted in several stage plays in Delhi. He was supposed to be Mira’s assistant director for her next film project titled 'Kamasutra', but in a twist of fate, the project slipped out of his hands. Naved turned actor and first acted on DD National’s 'Byomkesh Bakshi' in 1993. His breakthrough came in the year 1996, through Sony TV’s medical drama show, 'Hospital'. He has been a part of the very popular soap opera, 'Pavitra Rishta'. Naved also acted as Chand Raichand in the supernatural TV series, 'Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani' on STAR One channel. He played a major role as Usman Abdullah, a successful Mumbai-based business person, in the television show 'Beintehaa' on Colors TV in 2013. He bagged the role of Bairam Khan, (Mughal Army’s Military Commander) in Ekta Kapoor’s historical drama series, 'Jodhaa Akbar' on Zee TV. In 2015, he portrayed the role of Bhisma in the mythological series, 'Suryaputra Karn' on Sony TV. He is notable for his role as Inspector Joginder Singh Solanki in action crime drama film, 'Sehar' in 2005. The talented actor appeared in the Bollywood comedy drama film, 'Honeymoon Travels Pvt. He was seen in Anjan Dutt’s 'Chowrasta Crossroads of Love' in 2009. In the following year, he played as Karan Singh in the Hindi-language film, 'Mr. Mehta', opposite Aruna Shields in the lead role. Naved also acted as Ajay Devgn’s henchman in the highly successful period gangster film, 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai'; a movie that was produced by the Balaji Motion Pictures in the year 2010. Besides acting in the Bollywood film industry, Naved played as a police officer in the Assamese socio-political thriller film, 'Ekhon Nedekha Nodir Xhipare' in 2012. Naved is married to Nikhat Aslam, a video editor and they have two sons. After his father had introduced him to the literature world, he had been writing sonnets in both Urdu and English languages. He helmed the play, Plane Crazy About Love. Rajit Kapur is a famous Indian actor most known for his award-winning portrayal of Mahatma Gandhi in the 1996 film, ‘The Making of the Mahatma.’ And the detective television series, ‘Byomkesh Bakshi’ based on the character created by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay the series was directed by Basu Chatterjee, the series was so popular that Rajit said, that people often mistaken him to be solving a murder mystery even when he visited a restaurant. Rajit Kapur won the National Film Award for the Best Actor in the 1996 film The Making of the Mahatma, and his role was highly acclaimed both by the critics and the people. He was awarded as the Best Actor in the Kerala State Film Award for his film Agni Sakshi in the year 1999. He was also awarded as the Best Actor in the Imagine India Film Festival, Spain for Best Actor for his film Do Paise Ki Dhoop, Chaar Aane Ki Baarish in 2010, where he moved hearts with his prowess.
